Enjoy the cool down air in the mountains along with its gentle sloping pastures and explore a great variety of birds at the Tenorio Volcano rain forest, including certain common species around this area. The trails into primary forest and roads along the forest edge will quickly help us to build a large bird list. We’ll make a special effort to search for mixed species flocks in the forest that may contain multiple tanagers or wrens, among many others which like to visit this middle elevation areas at the edge of the continental divide.
