Discover Scuba Diving
Begin with a medical check list and then head out to the pool with your instructor to learn the basics regarding safety and equipment rules. You will also be performing some skills under water and swimming around the pool in order to get accustomed to how it feels to breath on scuba.
We choose among two diving sites depending on the weather conditions to perform shallow (40ft max) dives exploring the Catalina Islands in the Pacific Ocean. Here you will have the possibility of seeing white tip reef sharks, spotted eagle rays, giant mant rays, nudibranchs, octopus, big schools of fish, eals and even a seahorse or two.
Monteverde Cloud Forest One Day
The Monteverde Cloud Forest is located in nothwestern Costa Rica, on the Tilaran Mountain Range. Called a cloud forest rather than a rain forest because of its altitude, the mountains intercept the northeast winds which turns into rain or clouds that go through the forest.
Once you enter the forest it is filled with a wide variety of trees and flowers including orchids, bromeliads, ferns, moss and vines and a very rich spectrum of insects, birds and butterflies. At the end of the trail you will encounter wonderful species of hummingbirds and the bright colors of their fast moving bodies at the hummingbird gallery.
