You don’t need a boat to go snorkeling! Join us for a great 2-hour kayak and snorkel tour in the Tamarindo Bay.
No need for experience, just take a kayak over to Isla Capitan in Tamarindo Beach! Our guides will give you a short lesson on how to use your kayak, and then you’ll set off directly from the beach for a 30–40-minute paddle over to Captain Island.
You will snorkel around for a while, with great opportunities to see a variety of marine life and coral on the island. After 45 minutes of snorkeling and viewing the bay from the island, the tour wraps up with a leisurely paddle back to Tamarindo. Snorkeling gear included and you can switch for Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe over to the island instead of kayaking. Stand-up Paddle Boarding (SUP) is also available for an extra fee.
After you finish your tour to the island, you have time at leisure to enjoy the waves at Tamarindo beach, eat at excellent local restaurants or just time to walk around souvenir shops and stores in downtown.
