Guaitil, a small pottery artisan’s town near Santa Cruz city, considered the only location in Costa Rica where they still make indigenous pottery with the same methods and materials used thousands of years ago.
Learn about an ancient tradition passed on generation to generation while you check out clay, tools and other materials that are used to make this unique type of pottery. You will also get the chance to purchase some ceramics to the local artisans during this tour.
